Celebrate Bluegrass In The Triad This Weekend

PLEASANT GARDEN, N.C. -- You can celebrate mom this weekend with music!  Pickin' in the Park Bluegrass Festival returns to the Triad and you're invited!

The High Lonesome Strings Bluegrass Association is hosting Pickin' in the Park for the 20th year!

The free bluegrass festival is Saturday, May 13 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Hagan-Stone Park in Pleasant Garden.

If it rains, the bluegrass festival will be rescheduled for Sunday, May 14 starting at noon.

Seven bands will perform on the Clyde Davis Memorial Stage this year.

There will also be lots of family fun including a children's story time.

The festival is free, but you can bring money for the food and craft vendors.

Make sure you bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets for the family to enjoy a day of music.

For more information, you can visit High Lonesome String's website
