GREENSBORO, NC -- The Greensboro Grasshoppers' field will soon transform into a dancing stage, as six dancing duos will twirl under the stars for a good cause.
The third-annual 'Dancing on the Diamond' fundraiser is Saturday, June 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. at First National Bank Field. All proceeds benefit the ARC of Greensboro programs. For more than two decades, the ARC has provided advocacy and jobs to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
WFMY News 2's Meghann Mollerus and Ed Matthews will proudly judge this year's event. Meghann participated as a dancer for the past two years and thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
Tickets cost $35 for general admission and $10 for self-advocates (individuals with disabilities). Raffle tickets (for prizes up to $700 in value) range from $25 to $100.
