Donate To WFMY News 2's Tools For School

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- WFMY News 2's Tools For School battle of the sexes got heated for a good cause. It was the WFMY News 2 men who came out with the win gathering 25 Tools For School bins and the ladies helped out by collecting 13 bins filled with school supplies.

The WFMY News 2 men devised a plan after the ladies won the WFMY News 2 Food Fight.

However on Wednesday the ladies represented at the Walmart on Wendover in Greensboro, starting with the Good Morning Show and on through the 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. newscasts.

Then on Thursday the men devised a plan that included ice cream, hot dogs, and a chance to dunk Frank Mickens in the water among many others. It started off on the Good Morning Show with Eric Chilton and Patrick Wright. They both did a Tools for School rap in response to Jackie Fernandez's and Meghann Mollerus's serenade,

But you can still help out with WFMY News 2's Tools For School donation to help make sure students have the tools they need for the classroom. Your donations will make a difference in many children's lives. Everything collected will go to teachers and children in Piedmont Triad schools.
