Free Thanksgiving Pancake Breakfast For The Homeless In High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. - Some folks are spending the Thanksgiving holiday serving the homeless.

Triad Live, a non profit geared towards uplifting communities, is hosting a free pancake breakfast.

Volunteers will be cooking and serving the homeless a warm meal, including pancakes, grits, scrambled eggs, country ham, bacon, sausage, and toast.

There will also be apple juice, coffee, orange juice, and cranberry juice.

Organizers say the purpose is to bring the community together and make sure no one goes hungry on Thanksgiving Day.

The pancake breakfast will be at United House of Grace & Mercy Church in High Point from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The breakfast is free and open to the public.
