Greensboro Jewish Festival Open to Everyone


GREENSBORO, NC --  This weekend, you have the chance to learn a different culture and history all in one place!

Ivan Cutler, dressed as Moses, and Marcy Morris joined Tracey McCain on the Good Morning Show to talk about the upcoming Greensboro Jewish festival. 

The Festival offers a wonderful sampling of Jewish food and culture, lively music, tours of the Temple, a look at Jewish history, and an artisan's showcase to satisfy the shopper in you. They'll also have a kid's zone, music, shopping, and a tour of the temple. People can also meet a cast of biblical characters – Moses, David, Abraham, Miriam, Sara, Esther, Ruth and Batya – will who will bring the Old Testament to life.

The gourmet food menu includes Corned beef or Pastrami on rye, homemade matzoh ball soup, bagels and bialys with lox, Kosher hot dogs, noodle kugel, Knishes, and falafel. From the bakery:  challah, babka, black and white cookies, and desserts like homemade rugelach, mandelbrot, Hamantashen and chocolate covered matzah.

Temple Emanuel's Jewish Festival is this Sunday, October 11 from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm -- rain or shine. The address is 1129 Jefferson Road, Greensboro. For more information, click here
