The word alone conjures up so many memories. You might not remember what you ate, who you talked to, or your date's middle name; but you do remember what you wore. It also doesn't help that those prom pictures always seem to pop up when you least expect it.
That is why ladies say the dress is so important!
Here's where you come in. Triad Goodwill and WKZL are partnering together for their annual "Give A Girl A Gown" campaign to make sure every high school girl has a fabulous dress to wear. They are asking our community to donate gently worn bridesmaid, cocktail and prom dresses that you have collecting dust in the back of your closet. They're also looking for the accessories such as shoes, clutches, and jewelry.
All dresses and accessories collected will be brought to the Goodwill store located at 3519 North Elm Street in Greensboro for a special sale on Saturday, April 5th. The sale will be from noon to 2p.m. and 1075 WKZL will be there with food and prizes.
