"It takes a village to raise a child" is a common saying many of you have heard before.
Morgan Addington decided to take that saying, and use it to showcase the lives of middle schools kids in her newest film. She says teachers and the community all have a part in raising, and molding, our youth. The movie is called, "It takes a village" and it premieres tonight at the Carousel Cinemas.
Addington is a teacher at Harriston Middle and brought two of the student actors featured in the film, Rojania Jamison and Trevion Boswell, to talk about the experience.
You can watch the movie yourself tonight at 7:30 at the Carousel Cinemas at 1305 Battleground Avenue in Greesnboro. Ticket are $10.
