Greensboro, N.C. -- Think big! Now think sale! Combine the two and you have one of the biggest sales in the area.
The 2014 Super Sale features new or slightly used home goods, clothes, sporting equipment, furniture and more at amazing prices.
Monday on the Good Morning Show, WFMY News 2's Tracey McCain gave viewers an exclusive look at some of the items you can purchase at the 2014 Super Sale. Some of the featured items: $500 cookware sets, for $59. Classic vinyls and books for a buck, get individual golf clubs or buy the bag and the clubs for $20. Plus several of the $5 dresses and $4 blouses still have the tags.
The sale benefits music education programs supported by the Greensboro Symphony Guild and Greensboro Symphony Orchestra. "These programs are the first and only experience many children have with the music arts," said Sharon Kasica, the Vice President of education for the Greensboro Symphony Guild. "There are studies that show kids who are exposed to music have better success in high school," she added.
The 2014 Super Sale starts with a preview party Friday, March 27, 2014. It's from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 707 East Bessemer Avenue in Greensboro. You have to buy a ticket for the this event, which you can purchase here.
Then, the sale opens to everyone on Saturday, March 28, 2014. It's from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the same location. The event is cash only, but credit and debit cards will be accepted for purchases over $50. Keep in mind, delivery is not offered. If you expect to purchase furniture or another big item please plan ahead.
