North Carolina Baby May Hold New World Record for Youngest Water Skier

WAKE FOREST, N.C. -- A North Carolina baby may hold a new world record.  A Wake Forest dad says his 6 month 10 day old son can water ski and he has the video to prove it.

Our sister station CBS North Carolina has the video of professional water skier Rob Absher's son water skiing.

Absher says his son Auburn became the world's youngest water skier on Sunday.  The previous record holder was 6 months and 27 days old.

Absher says he took the video at Falls Lake Sunday afternoon showing Auburn water skiing for 30 seconds and about 150 feet.  The record has not been confirmed.

We'll keep you posted.
