Pink Power Fashion Show Helps Battle Breast Cancer

Fashion Show To Fight Breast Cancer

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- High fashion hits the runway in Greensboro! This Friday night, models will strut their stuff to help battle breast cancer at the Pink Power Fashion Show.

The THREADS Organization from UNC Greensboro is hosting its second annual charity fashion show to support breast cancer awareness.

The event will be a night to remember with stylists and designers working to create looks inspired by the powerful women who have fought and are still fighting breast cancer.

The looks will incorporate the color pink in honor of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Part of the proceeds of the show will go to the Mammography Scholarship Fund at the Women's Hospital of Greensboro.

The THREADS Organization was founded at UNCG in 2005 with hopes of creating an environment where fashion students and business majors alike could come together and learn new skills, meet new people, and have a great time networking together.

If you'd like to go, the Pink Power Fashion Show is Friday, October 14 from 7 to 10 p.m. at The W on Elm, 324 S. Elm Street in Greensboro.

Tickets are $10 to $12. You can buy tickets here.
