BURLINGTON, N.C. -- There's a whole lot of free fun going on in Burlington this weekend.
The 5th Annual Pinnacle Family Fun Day takes place Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Burlington's North Park. This year has a special theme: Unity.
"This event brings unity to the Burlington community. A lot of times as parents we work and we don't get to spend a lot of time with our children," said event organizer Joyce Googe. "So this day will be a good day to come out and enjoy the fun, the fellowship and food together."
"Our desire is that the businesses, churches and civic organizations would come together and embrace the importance of giving back," she added.
There are a host of free activities for the community to enjoy including a health fair, sponsored by Cone Health, the Mayco Bigelow Grill Contest, the Ed Miles Car and Bike Show, a baking competition, flea and farmer's market, and performances from community groups.
You can enjoy the free food, entertainment and family fun from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at North Park in Burlington. For more information, click here.
