Police: Person Hospitalized After Hit-And-Run in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Greensboro police say a person is in the hospital with "life-threatening injuries" after being hit by a car on Market Street early Thursday morning.

Police say the person was riding his bicycle west on E. Market Street at approximately 12:30 a.m., when he was hit by a red pickup truck. Police say the truck then fled west on E. Market Street.

Police say the pickup was likely a Ford or GMC and could have damage to the right front headlight.

The Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash. No lanes are closed as a result of this accident.
