Recipes: The Porterhouse Bar & Grill's Waffles And Greek Omelet

Waffle Batter Recipe:

3 cups Self rising flour

3 eggs

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup melted butter

2 cups whole milk

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Combine dry ingredients, add the eggs and then slowly add the milk until your desired thickness is apparent. Cook waffle according to your waffle maker's specs.

Bananas Foster Sauce

2 tbsp Melted Butter

1 cup light brown sugar

2 tbsp Dark Rum

3 tbsp heavy whipping cream

Combine butter and sugar in a pan and cook until sugar is melted and bubbly. Add rum and heavy cream carefully. Reduce until thickness is achieved.

Greek Omelet

In one pan add spinach and wilt down to cook. Add roasted tomatoes and combine. Set aside but keep warm.

Whip 3 eggs very well. Pour the beaten eggs into a pan on medium heat. Flip cook until edges are firm. Flip omelet and add filling from other pan and fold the omelet as you plate.
