Samaritan's Purse Taking Supplies To Haiti

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Thursday morning, Samaritan's Purse left from PTI and flew to Haiti to help with Hurricane Matthew relief. 

The Boone based organization is taking 20 tons of clean water, hygiene products and plastic sheeting for emergency shelters.

The group plans to help 2,000 households. So far, this storm has killed 11 people. Five of them were in Haiti.

They landed in Haiti and then headed back to the Triad to load up another plane.
