The Salvation Army Needs Volunteers

The Salvation Army Needs Kettle Bell Ringers

WINSTON-SALEM, NC -- It's almost synonymous with the holiday season, the ringing of the Salvation Army kettle bells. When you see that red kettle in front of a store and hear the jingling of the bells you know what it means: helping your neighbors in need.

The Salvation Army helps thousands of people this time of year. From the Angel Tree to Stuff A Stocking, they make Christmas wishes come true. But a lot of the good they do depends on you, the volunteer. Funding for these holiday programs come from your donations and those donations can't happen when the kettles aren't there. Without volunteers and people manning kettles and ringing bells, that money can't help people in need.

So here's where you come in. Grab some friends and family members and sign up to ring the kettle bell this season. It's easy to do - just follow the links below, fill out a form, and choose your date. There are hundreds of open positions and nothing says holiday cheer like ringing bells for all to hear.
