GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Real men wear pink, at least when they're raising awareness for breast cancer. And today, you can sport a little pink to help the cause.
National Pink Tie Day is October 20, 2016.
The day was started by a Greensboro based nonprofit organization, A Tie That Binds, in an effort to get more men to show their support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Mitch Miles, founder of A Tie That Binds, watched his mother battle breast cancer. Patsy Miles beat the odds decades ago.
The family's journey sparked A Tie That Binds.
Miles encourages all men to show their support of those battling breast cancer by wearing pink ties on Thursday, October 20.
And don't forget to post a picture wearing your pink tie on social. Make sure you use #NationalPinkTieDay.
