WINSTON-SALEM - Ladies, it's time to ditch the high heels and hit the basketball court.
Wake Forest University is offering a basketball program just for women.
It's part of the 4th Annual Danny Manning Women's Basketball Clinic.
The program is designed for die-hard Demon Deacons fans or women who just want to learn more about basketball.
Head coach Danny Manning will help participants learn court drills and the basics of offensive and defensive sets.
The program will also include a mix and mingle with wives of the Demon Deacons coaching staff, gift bags, and a chance to win door prizes.
The program is $40 per person for the general public.
It's $32 if you work at Wake Forest University or Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
Proceeds from the basketball program benefit the Wake Forest Baptist Health Brenner Children's Hospital and holiday shopping for area families in need.
The program will be held at the LJVM Coliseum in Winston-Salem on Sunday at 5:00 pm.
