Watch The Wyndham, But Don't Forget The Snacks

Greensboro, NC - Watching the Wyndham is fun, but watching it while snacking on food inspired by the tournament is so much better.

Chef Chris Tobin from Natty Greene's Pub and Brewing Company showed off some great snack ideas in the News 2 kitchen. They're perfect snacks while you watch the tournament on WFMY News 2.

Here are the recipes for "The Sandy" and the "City Club"sandwiches.

The Sandy:

Crab cakes - 6lbs of lump crab, 1 green pepper, 1 red pepper, 1/4 red onion, 10 eggs, 1/4 cup mayo, 1 tbsp pepper, 8 cups bread crumbs

Mix all of the ingredients, then portion into 5oz patties. Coat patties in bread crumbs

Remoulade - 1 gallon mayo, 2 cups lemon juice, 2 tbsp minced garlic, 1 cup blackening seasoning, 2 tbsp salt, 2 tbsp pepper, 1 tbsp celery seed, 2 medium sized red onions pureed, 2 celery bunches pureed, 1/2 cup Texas Pete

Slaw Dressing - 8 cups mayo, 2 cups red wine vinegar, 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup salt, 2 tbsp white pepper, 2 tbsp dry mustard, 2 tbsp celery seed

Toast a sandwich round

Deep fry crab cake

Add Remoulade to bun and put fried crab cake on bun and then top with slaw. Cut and serve.

The City Club:

Toast three pieces of wheat bread, add mayonnaise to all three pieces of bread. Putt sliced turkey and ham on bottom, cheese and then add middle piece of bread. Add lettuce, tomato, and bacon. Top with last piece of wheat bread. pick, and cut into fours. Pick two of the quarters together, repeat and serve.
