GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Jackie Fernandez continues your all access pass to "Under The Dome" with a look at the special effects and stunts.
She spoke with the show's special effects coordinator Adam Avitabile and he says, "We're constantly trying to make things look real and some of the wacky stuff we're given, it's hard to do." He also said dozens of artists work together to manipulate a scene to make it look beyond anything you could imagine.
Something else that tricks the eye - stunt doubles. When the action on "Under the Dome" gets too intense, the stunt doubles steps in. Jackie spoke to actor Mike Vogel's stunt double, Remington Steele. He says the learning curve is tough. He had to learn how to punch and shoot a gun left-handed because Vogel is left-handed while he uses his right hand.
