Winston-Salem Police Letting You Buy Their Stuff!

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Winston-Salem Police Department is auctioning some its extra equipment.

They're selling everything from computers, to tables and chairs, to a treadmill! Some of the things in the auction are in working condition. Others will probably be best as scrap parts for salvage. But they're all from the city's surplus.

You can see what's available and bid on items online. Some bidding ends Thursday morning. Bidding on the remaining items ends Monday, May 19.

If you're looking for a new car, Mendenhall Auto Auction is auctioning off vehicles from the city surplus Saturday. The surplus auction starts at noon. Available items include city transit buses, commercial mowers, trailers, tools and more.
