GREENSBORO, N.C. -- When you're looking to try a new restaurant, you probably google it and find a bunch of reviews on Yelp.
On Thursday, Yelp is taking the party offline and hosting its first "Burstday" in the Triad.
Yelp is partnering with the High Point Arts Council to create a unique birthday party experience full of freebies, food, and fun. You can better acquaint yourself with local businesses while enjoying different types of music and entertainment.
Some of the businesses you'll see at Yelp's "Burstday" are Foothills Brewing, Wright Up Ur Galley, Pintxos Pour House, Carter Brothers BBQ, Twin City Hive, Haute Chocolate, LongHorn Steakhouse, DJ Andrew Larsson, Shutterbooth, Twisted Dog Productions, Roots and Wings By Katie.
You can check out Yelp's "Burstday" by going to the Centennial Station in High Point Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. It is completely free to get in. All you have to do is create a Yelp profile. Remember. you have to RSVP before going. You can do that by clicking here. Lastly, this one is for the mature crowd, 21 and up.
