GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro Police Department worked with community members Saturday morning to clean up the area around the Heritage House.
The Heritage House is a six-story apartment building in southern Greensboro that has a history of illegal activity.
Police said in 2013 they received 1,200 calls regarding the complex; about 150 were drug related and 178 were because of disorderly people or crowds. Earlier this year, police arrested 10 people at the Heritage House on drug charges.
In 2012, the city of Greensboro addressed community concerns about the Heritage House by continuously inspecting it for code compliances.
