Greensboro Police ID Woman Hit, Killed By Guilford Co. Deputy

Police in Greensboro are investigating a fatal accident involving a pedestrian and an on-duty Guilford County sheriff's deputy. Police are also asking the public for help identifying the victim.

GREENSBORO, N.C.-- Police in Greensboro are investigating a fatal accident involving a pedestrian and an on-duty Guilford County sheriff's deputy.

Monday night police identified the woman as: 51-year-old Florence White of Burlington, N.C.

According to a police report, White was hit and killed by a deputy who was driving his patrol car in the 5000 block of Burlington Road. The accident happened Saturday around 2:48 a.m.

The crash is still under investigation by the Greensboro Police Department Crash Reconstruction Team.
