Greensboro Police Investigating Fatal Shooting

GREENSBORO, NC -- Greensboro Police say a man has died from injuries he sustained in a shooting Tuesday night.

Police say they responded to the 2400-block of East Bessemer Avenue just after 11:30 pm in reference to a shooting.   Upon arrival Police found one gunshot victim.  Emergency crews transported him to a local hospital where he later died. The name and address of the victim is being withheld temporarily.

Police are now investigating the incident as a homicide. Anyone with information in this case should call Greensboro Crimestoppers. The number is (336) 373-1000.
