Greensboro Police: Man Charged With Shooting Dog Walker

GREENSBORO, NC -- Greensboro Police say they now know who shot a man walking his dog. Police say Jeremiah Sumner, 17, turned himself into police on Friday.

Investigators say the shooting happened on Wednesday just before 11:30 p.m. outside of a house on Acorn Road. That's where they say Ryan Eugene Pressely, 27, was walking his dog when an SUV approached him. There was an argument before Pressely was shot in the abdomen. He was taken to the hospital and at last check was in critical condition.

Sumner is charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury with Intent to Kill.
