Injuries Reported in Accident Involving Cargo In Guilford Co.

The accident is at the intersection where Old Oak Ridge, Prentiss and Pleasant Ridge Roads all meet. Greensboro police is diverting traffic around the area. Guilford Metro 911 confirms there are multiple patients involved and emergency crews had to extract at least one person from the vehicle.

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C.-- First Responders are on the scene of a crash involving a cargo truck and another vehicle.

The accident happened at the intersection where Old Oak Ridge, Prentiss and Pleasant Ridge Roads all meet around 1 p.m. Greensboro police diverted traffic around the area.

Guilford Metro 911 confirms there are multiple patients involved and emergency crews had to extract one person from the vehicle.

Greensboro Police say the driver of the truck was uninjured.  Two people in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital.  One person is in good condition; the other person's condition is unknown.

The roadway opened back up around 3 p.m.
