GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Liberians in Greensboro gathered Sunday night to pray and raise money for Samaritan's Purse, a missionary organization based in Boone, North Carolina.
The missionary group works to help the poor and the sick. It recently had people in Liberia where the Ebola virus continues to spread.
Liberians living in the Triad said they hope we can all work together to help people living in their home country.
"Hopefully people will continue to pray and do what they can do so that eventually we will be able to fight this terrible disease." Reverend Wheigar Bright
The group raised nearly a $1,000.
