North Carolina Girl Recovering From Shark Attack

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- A North Carolina girl is recovering from a shark bite at a popular tourism destination.

Rylie Williams, 12, was swimming off Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on Labor Day when she was bitten.

Williams is recovering from 39 puncture wounds and 25 stitches. She is expected to make a full recovery.

Last year, eight people were bitten by sharks off the South Carolina coast.
