Restaurant Report Card: February 9, 2012

Greensboro, NC -- This week, four restaurants would have earned "B" scores during their inspections, had an employee not passed their "Servsafe" Certification.

In Alamance County, Z-Bowl on South Fifth Street in Mebane earned a 91.50 thanks to two bonus points. The restaurant at the bowling alley and arcade was docked points for an employee not washing their hands, having dirty dishes, and a dirty sink.

The general manager of Z-Bowl told News 2 they corrected everything on the spot.

The two bonus points from "ServSafe" Certifications also helped three restaurants in Winston-Salem earn "A's".

New China Buffet on North University Parkway earned a 90.5

China Chef on Peters Creek Parkway and Hong Kong King Buffet on Silas Creek Parkway each earned a 90.

According to the inspection reports, the big problems at all three of the restaurants were that food items were not safe temperatures.
