"SURVIVOR" Hopefuls Compete For Spot On Show

Greensboro, NC -- Dozens of folks from around the Triad were lined up late Friday night and early Saturday morning for the chance to compete on one of CBS' hit reality TV shows.

WFMY News 2 and Colfax Furniture and Mattress hosted an open casting call for "SURVIVOR" Saturday in Greensboro.

Potential contestants taped one-minute auditions tapes to send to the show's judges.

Now, the hopefuls will wait to find out if they'll get the chance to "Outwit, Outplay and Outlast" contestants on one of the show's upcoming seasons!

SURVIVOR is an Emmy Award-winning series that pits players in a remote location competing for the Grand Prize of $1 million. Players are initially split into tribes, which are comprised of individual from all different backgrounds with the same ultimate goal: to outwit, outplay, outlast and ultimately be crowned the Sole Survivor. The show is hosted by Emmy Award winner Jeff Probst.
