Over $700,000 Worth Of Marijuana Plants Seized In Henry Co.

HENRY COUNTY, V.A. – Authorities in Henry County say over $700,000 worth of marijuana plants were seized on Wednesday.

Deputies with the Henry County Sheriff's Office and the Virginia State Police said they found 211 marijuana plants in a wooded area around 1974 Original Henry Road in Bassett.

After they executed a search warrant, deputies said they found quantities of dried and drying marijuana, a firearm, and a lab. The potential monetary yield of the pants seized is $738, 500 according to deputies.
