CHARLOTTE, N.C.-- Thursday, during the Charlotte Hornets Summer League practice a player fans and the media have been waiting to hear from finally talked.
P.J. Hairston finally talked to the media during a Hornets Summer League practice, but he didn't talk about the alleged fight with a high school teenager during pick up game.
He told CBS Affiliate WBTV he can't really talk about the alleged "incident" because it is a legal matter now, but he did talk about how he will move on from the altercation.
Sunday night, WFMY News 2 first reported that Charlotte Hornets rookie P.J. Hairston was allegedly involved in a fight in Durham. Hairston got into an altercation at a Durham YMCA with a 17 year old.
Monday, WFMY News 2 went to the Hornets Rookie mini-camp in Charlotte and Hairston refused to talk to the media about the incident and he hasn't returned any phone calls to him by WFMY News 2.
According to WBTV, Hairston also talked about a car swap between he and Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon this past weekend. Gordon was arrested and charged with a DWI in Raleigh while driving Hairston's car.
