Police Going Door-To-Door Helping To Prevent Crime

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro Police are going door-to-door through public housing communities to listen to concerns.

Officers are accompanied with representatives from Greensboro Housing Authority (GHA) and will talk with residents about ways to prevent crime.

Police say the most interested groups are kids and parents.

The door-to-door campaign starts at 3 p.m. at the following locations:

· Ray Warren, Wednesday, August 20

· Hampton Homes, Wednesday, Sept. 24

· Hickory Trails, Wednesday, Oct. 22

Since 1989, the Greensboro Police Department has had officers working exclusively in all of GHA's 19 communities.
