Police Looking For Burlington Shooting Suspects

BURLINGTON, N.C. -- Burlington police say they are looking for two suspects in connection with a shooting at a home Friday afternoon.

Dispatchers told WFMY News 2 they received the call around 4:30 p.m. It happened in the 400 block of Piedmont Way.

Police said they found Jesus Lopez suffering from at least one gunshot wound. No other victims or people were at the home.

Emergency crews took Lopez by helicopter to UNC Hospital. The last update from police was that he was in surgery.

Witnesses told officers they saw two men leaving the area.
