Police: Walmart Employee Charged For Taking $7,000 From Store

LEXINGTON, N.C. – Lexington Police say they arrested a Walmart employee Tuesday for taking $7,000 from the store.

Officers say Amber Ferguson, 24, a customer service manager, took money from the registers while making money drops to employees' registers.

The incidents were reported at the location at 160 Lowes Boulevard in Lexington between July 4 and August 12.

Ferguson was charged with Larceny by Employee.
