GREENSBORO, N.C. - All the Michael's stores in the Triad have been affected by a massive security breach.
The craft store company says the information from about 400,000 credit and debit cards could have been stolen from the two stores in Greensboro, one in Burlington and one in Winston-Salem. In all, Michael's says 3-million cards were affected nationwide.
Dates of vulnerability include May through November of 2013 and December through this past January. Michael's is offering free I.D. protection, credit monitoring and fraud assistance services to affected customers for 12 months.
