U.S. Postal Service Worker Dies After Crash In Greensboro: Police

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Police say a U.S. Postal Service worker died after a crash in Greensboro on Tuesday evening. 

The crash happened at the I-840 intersection near Burlington Road. Police say 35-year-old Darryl Jermaine Pleasant was driving a U.S. Postal Service truck when he crossed the center median into the opposite lanes and crashed into an oncoming SUV. 

Pleasant was taken to Moses Cone Hospital where he later died. 

The driver of the SUV was treated for her injuries at Moses Cone Hospital. 

Police say impairment was not a factor in the crash. 

The Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash.
