W-S Police Identify 17-Year-Old Killed in Shooting

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.-- Police in Winston-Salem are investigating a shooting that left a man dead and two women injured Sunday night.

Police say they found 17-year-old Danny Joe Harris dead at the scene.

Officers found three victims after responding to reports of gunfire, just before 9:30 p.m. Sunday, at a house in the 2500 block of Bloomfield Drive.

Police say they also found 26-year-old Jenisha Shattiera Crawford in the house with serious injuries. Twenty-four-year-old Brittany Shardiney Robinson had minor injuries.

The Winston-Salem Police Department initially reported only two people had been affected by the gunshots. An update issued shortly before noon listed three victims' names.

Investigators say they believe the victims were shot by someone who fired multiple rounds into the house from outside. The suspect then left the area in an unknown type of vehicle, officers said.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 727-2800.
