Warrant: Teeth, Hammer Found In New Search For Missing Girl

SALISBURY, N.C. -- New information about the search for Erica Parsons has been released by the Rowan County Sheriff's Office through another set of warrants.

The warrants, obtained by WBTV, say investigators searched a red wooden storage building at a home in China Grove on Wednesday. Investigators seized teeth, a hammer, a video tape, pieces of a vacuum cleaner and school records.

The storage building, according to WBTV, belongs to Sandy Parsons, Erica's adoptive father. Tax records show the property and the home have been owned by Sandy's parents since 1995.

The China Grove property search is the second property search by investigators in this case. Deputies and other investigating agencies searched the home of Erica's adoptive parents last week.

A $15,000 reward has been offered for information about Erica's disappearance - $10,000 by the sheriff's office and $5,000 by TV talk-show host Dr. Phil. Erica's adoptive parents appeared on the talk-show Tuesday and Wednesday.

Deputies released a computer-generated image of Erica on Wednesday to show what she may look like presently.

Erica has been missing for two years, since she was 13 years old. Her disappearance was not reported until the end of July 2013.
