WFMY News 2/CBS To Air 8 NFL Thursday Night Games

NEW YORK-- It was announced in February that CBS will televise eight NFL Thursday night games, starting this season. CBS won its bid for the games which has become prime property for network television.

The games will be simulcast on the NFL Network and come during the first half of the season. The NFL cable network will keep the second-half games for itself.

You can watch those eight games only on WFMY News 2 in the Triad area market.

The NFL says the contract with CBS is for one year, and the league has an option to extend it for 2015.

Here's a Look at the Panthers' Schedule of games that will air on CBS on other nights.

Week 4 September 28, 1:00 p.m. at Ravens

Week 8 October 26, 1:00 p.m. against the Seahawks

Week 16 Dec 21, 1:00 p.m. against the Browns
