Winston-Salem Police Investigating Shooting Saturday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Winston-Salem Police say they are looking for a suspect wanted in a shooting Saturday.

Officers said they arrived to a home on Bethlehem Lane after noon after receiving a shooting call. Upon arrival, they found a male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound to his lower body.

The victim told police he was involved in an argument with the unknown suspect just before the shooting.

The man was transported to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center where his condition was reported as serious. However, officers say his injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

The investigation is ongoing.
