Winston-Salem To Get New Hotel Part Of Wesley Walls' Project

WINSTON-SALEM. N.C. -- Plans are underway for a four-story hotel to be built in Winston-Salem next year.

According to the Triad Business Journal, the 108 room, $12 million Resident Inn by hotel developer BPR Properties will be located on Hanes Mall Boulevard in Winston-Salem. It's also part of a planned 22-acre redevelopment project according to the Triad Business Journal, by former Carolina Panthers' tight end Wesley Walls.

The Triad Business Journal also reports plans to develop a Hampton Inn & Suites in downtown Greensboro. Most recently in Winston-Salem Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group of San Francisco announced its plans to turn the Reynolds Building into a boutique hotel and apartments.
