More Parents On Guard At Bus Stops

More Parents Watching Out At Bus Stops

Several schools officials in the Alamance-Burlington School system say more parents are watching kids at bus stops. More students have also been dropped off at school by their parents.

That's because on Tuesday, deputies say a man abducted an 11-year-old girl while she was waiting at a bus stop and sexually assaulted her.

The girl told investigators the man snatched her, while she was waiting for the school bus with her brother.
She says the man let her go, after hearing sirens nearby.
Deputies are looking for a grey, four door car that's possibly a Buick. The car might have a sticker on the back with a skull on it and a damaged mirror on the passenger side. The suspect is said to be a man between 35 and 45 years old and could have light facial hair.
The Alamance County Sheriff's Office and Crimestoppers are offering a $5,000 dollar reward for information leading to an arrest.
