Body Found In Storage Unit Identified, Daughter Arrested

LEXINGTON, KY -- An arrest has been made in connection with a body that was found in a storage unit.

Lexington Police in Kentucky discovered the body nearly four months ago in an Econo Self Storage unit.

They say the victim was Luther Broughton. According to WKYT, the man's daughter Judith Maria Broughton is accused of stealing his Social Security Retirement Insurance Benefits. A Texas grand jury indicted her on a felony charge of Theft of Public Money, Property, or Receipts. She was arrested by U.S. Marshals April 10 and is in a Texas Detention Center without bond.

Police still do not know how long Luther Broughton was dead for or how his remains ended up in the unit. The Social Security Administration also found that Judith's mother has been missing for more than a month and they're now searching for her.
