Man Dies In Shooting At Arizona Wal-Mart

CHANDLER, AZ-- The man shot inside a Chandler Walmart Sunday afternoon has died from his injuries, according to the Chandler Police Department.

The 36-year-old man was shot following a physical fight just after 4 p.m. in a checkout line at the store, located at Alma School and Warner Roads, police said.

Police said one of the men pulled out a gun and shot the other then fled the area. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died, police said. Video footage taken from the store shows a physical altercation between the two men before the shooting happen, according to Chandler police.

Chandler police said a 25-year-old Chandler resident was being questioned as the possible shooter but have stopped short of naming him a suspect. The Walmart will remain closed until 7 a.m. Monday morning.
