Sign Says It All: Children Not Really Welcomed At Restaurant

MONTEREY, Calif.-- Restaurants are usually places an entire family, including children, go to enjoy a meal away from home. However, a restaurant in California is sending a different message to families, adults welcomed, children, not so much.

Some tourists are complaining about a popular California restaurant's "no noisy children" policy, but the owner, Chris Shake told WPTV the ban is not hurting his business.

A sign outside the Old Fisherman's Grotto is crystal clear about its policy on children dining; it clearly states: "no strollers, no high chairs, no booster chairs--and children making noise are not allowed in the dining room."
