Soldier Stops Parade To Propose To His Girlfriend

WADSWORTH, OHIO – The 4th of July couldn't be more special for Tera Dobrich, who was attending the Blue Tip Parade in Wadsworth, Ohio.

That's because her boyfriend, Ohio National Guard soldier Stephen Kantorik stopped the parade. He was riding in a Humvee when suddenly he got out of the vehicle and walked over to his girlfriend. He pulled her to into the middle of the road then got down on his knee and proposed. Dobrich told him she wanted a proposal in front of her family and friends.

The couple has dated for nearly six years and have an 18-month-old daughter. She said yes, and the three of them got in the Humvee together and finished the rest of the parade.
