Early Voting For May 6 Primary To Begin Soon

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. -- Guilford County voters will soon be able to cast their vote early for the May 6 Primary.

You can vote early by mail or in person beginning on Thursday, April 24. There is no same-day registration to early vote so you must be registered by Friday, April 11 to vote in the primary.

Voter attendants will ask if you have photo identification but it won't be required to vote until 2016.

Early voting will be available at the Old County Courthouse during regular hours of operation, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.

Seven additional sites will be available with extended hours of operation and include: Guilford Agriculture Center, Brown Recreation Center, Bur-Mil Club, Craft Recreation Center, Leonard Recreation Center, Oak Hollow Mall, and Washington Terrace Park.
