National Voter Registration Day: How to Register

The fourth Tuesday of September is National Voter Registration Day and with the election just a few weeks away, you'll want to register to vote if you haven't already.

Registering to vote is easy. You can do it online, in person at most DMVs or local registration office and through the mail.

Here's where you can register in some Triad counties in person: 

In Guilford County:

  • Board of Elections Office – 301 W Market St, Room 115, Greensboro or 325 E Russell Avenue, High Point (forms are available in Spanish)
  • Department of Motor Vehicles
  • Public agencies

In Randolph County:

  • Board of Elections Office (158 Worth St., Asheboro, NC)
  • Public Libraries
  • Drivers License Offices
  • Public Assistance Agencies
  • Agencies Serving Persons with Disabilities
  • Public High Schools
  • Various Town Halls

In Rockingham County:

  • The Board of Elections Office (240 Cherokee Camp Rd. - Reidsville, NC)
  • Rockingham County Libraries
  • The DMV
  • Public Assistance Agencies
