Could other conferences follow the NCAA and ACC and pull championship games out of North Carolina?
The Southern Conference has 3 championship events currently scheduled in North Carolina this year. SoCon's Commissioner says those tournaments are still happening, but that could change.
John Iamarino wants to have a conference call with school presidents and chancellors, next week.
"Well it seems to me that you know we have two options, maybe three. We could pull those out of the state. We could continue as we've planned and hold them, or we could perhaps do what the ACC did and say that we're not going to put any neutral site events in North Carolina, but events on any of our campuses because we do have 2 institutions in the state," says Iamarino.
